Following notification from the Aviation Investigation Bureau (AIB) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to support the investigation. This action was taken in accordance with ICAO Annex 13 provisions, as the United States is the state of manufacturer and design for the aircraft.
