What happened
On July 7, 2024, at approximately 1800 mountain daylight time, a Fantasy Air SRO Allegro 2007, registration N969RC, was involved in an accident near Eureka, Utah. The flight was being operated under 14 CFR Part 91 for personal use.
According to ADS-B data, the aircraft departed Spanish Fork Municipal Airport/Woodhouse Field at 1558. The flight proceeded on a westerly heading and maneuvered near Eureka. Witnesses driving in the area observed the aircraft parked off Holmansville Pass Road at approximately 1626. The aircraft was later located in an open field approximately 1,200 feet west of the road at 1818.
The pilot sustained 1 fatal injury.
