What happened
On 17 November 2025, a Boeing 737-248C operated by Nolinor Aviation was performing an instrument flight rules (IFR) flight from Montréal-Mirabel International Airport to Val-d’Or Regional Airport, Quebec. Upon touchdown at Val-d’Or, the flight crew experienced vibrations that persisted throughout the landing roll. Although the pilot was able to maintain directional control and utilize normal braking, the vibrations continued until the aircraft reached a full stop on the runway. The crew alerted airport authorities, who dispatched emergency responders to the scene. Upon inspection, emergency services identified damage to the right landing gear. There were no injuries reported, and passengers were able to exit the aircraft via the forward door before being transported to the terminal by bus.
The investigation
As part of the investigation, the TSB analyzed runway markings at its laboratory in Ottawa, Ontario. The analysis of these marks indicated that any contact or impact occurred only toward the end of the landing roll. Additionally, investigators reviewed data retrieved from the aircraft's flight data recorder (FDR) to further examine the sequence of events during the landing.
