What happened
A twin-engine aircraft disappeared while performing a flight from Detroit, Michigan, toward Akron, Ohio. The aircraft was last known to be in transit between these two locations, with some indications suggesting the loss may have occurred within the state of Michigan.
Following the disappearance, search and rescue teams were deployed to locate the missing plane and its occupants. However, after several days of active searching, authorities suspended all operations because no wreckage or debris from the aircraft could be located. The flight was carrying 4 occupants, all of whom are currently unaccounted for.
Findings
No definitive information regarding the crash site has been established. Because no trace of the aircraft was recovered during the search, investigators have been unable to determine the specific circumstances surrounding the disappearance or identify any mechanical failures.
