What happened
During a mission involving agricultural spraying for the Kalinina collective farm, an aircraft was involved in a fatal accident near Novotlarovka in the Dinskaya district of the Krasnodar region. While performing unauthorized maneuvers at a low altitude, the aircraft struck a tree approximately 7 meters in height. Following this initial impact, the plane continued through several more trees and collided with a powerline mast.
The sequence of events concluded when the aircraft struck a residential building before ultimately crashing into a garden area. The impact caused the wreckage to ignite, resulting in a post-crash fire. There were two fatalities recorded, consisting of the pilot and one passenger.
Findings
Investigations into the accident determined that the flight was being conducted without proper authorization. The primary factor contributing to the crash was pilot error during the execution of low-altitude maneuvers.
