Accident Overview
On final approach to Słupsk-Redzikowo Airport during night conditions, the crew failed to realize that the aircraft's altitude was insufficient. The airplane struck roadside trees, lost height, and subsequently crashed in a snow-covered field located approximately two kilometers short of runway 27. Upon impact, the aircraft burst into flames and was totally destroyed.
Injuries and Rescue
Among the occupants, one passenger was killed. The remaining 51 occupants were rescued, including 33 who sustained injuries. The rescue operation extracted survivors from the wreckage.
Official Finding
The official probable cause determined that the accident resulted from a misinterpretation of the altimeters on the part of the crew or a wrong altimeter setting.
