What happened
On the morning of the accident, a twin-engine aircraft was engaged in a scheduled training mission traveling from Přerov to Trnava. The flight plan included several intermediate stops at Uherské Hradiště, Piešťany, and Levice. At 08:27 local time, the aircraft departed from Uherské Hradiště-Kunovice, heading in a westerly direction.
Approximately six minutes after takeoff, the pilot encountered deteriorating weather conditions characterized by low cloud cover and visibility that had dropped to only 100 meters. While operating at an inadequate altitude, the aircraft struck treetops and subsequently crashed into a forested area situated roughly 13 km southwest of Kroměříž. The impact resulted in a fire that completely destroyed the airframe.
Findings
All seven crew members on board perished in the accident. Investigations concluded that the primary factor in the crash was that the pilot maintained an insufficient flight altitude while operating in conditions of low visibility.
