What happened
The crew was tasked with delivering the aircraft to Oslo-Gardermoen Airport. During the transit phase, the flight encountered deteriorating weather conditions. These circumstances led to a critical fuel shortage, compelling the pilot to execute an emergency landing. The aircraft crash landed in the area of Kråkerøy, located south of Fredrikstad. Despite the severity of the impact, all five individuals on board remained uninjured. However, the airframe sustained extensive damage and was subsequently written off.
Findings
The official investigation identified the primary factor behind the incident as a forced landing necessitated by fuel shortage. The adverse weather conditions enroute contributed to the situation that led to this outcome.
