What happened
During an unauthorized flight path originating in Venezuela and destined for Honduras, an unidentified aircraft was tracked by authorities in both Guatemala and Honduras. As the flight progressed, the crew executed a belly landing in the Palajuyú area, located within the Sipacate region of Guatemala. Upon the arrival of law enforcement at the crash site, the occupants of the plane fled the scene and their current whereabouts remain unknown.
Following the landing, the aircraft was completely destroyed. During a search of the wreckage, officials discovered a significant quantity of contraband on board. No injuries or fatalities were reported among the crew, as they had already vacated the site prior to the arrival of the authorities.
