What happened
Shortly after departing from the La Carlota-Francisco de Miranda Airbase in Caracas, a twin engine airplane was traveling toward its destination of Porlamar. During the initial stages of the flight, the aircraft impacted the slope of a mountain situated in the vicinity of Caracas.
The impact resulted in the total destruction of the airframe. There were two fatalities recorded among the occupants of the plane, which included the pilot and one other person.
