What happened
During an unauthorized flight involving the transport of narcotics, an unidentified aircraft entered Venezuelan airspace without legal authorization. While operating within this restricted airspace, the aircraft was intercepted by the Venezuelan Army Forces. The military intervention forced the aircraft to perform an emergency landing in an open field.
Upon impact with the ground, the aircraft crashed and subsequently ignited, resulting in a post-crash fire that completely destroyed the airframe. At the time of the incident, there were two occupants on board the aircraft. Following the destruction of the vessel, the status of both the pilot and the second crew member remains undetermined, as their fate is currently unknown.
Findings
Investigations into the incident indicate that the flight was being conducted illegally for the purpose of drug trafficking. The primary factor leading to the destruction of the aircraft was the forced landing executed under pressure from military forces, which led to the subsequent fire.
