What happened
During a flight that had proceeded without incident, the aircraft type experienced a landing malfunction at Unalaska-Tom Madsen Airport on runway 13/31. The impact resulted in a belly landing, causing the plane to slide for several dozen meters across the runway surface before finally coming to a stop.
Upon the conclusion of the slide, the aircraft sustained damage that rendered it a total loss, being classified as damaged beyond repair. Despite the severity of the landing, all three occupants were able to evacuate the aircraft without sustaining any injuries.
