What happened
The incident occurred while the crew was conducting a local training flight at Tours-Parçay-Meslay Air Base. After completing an initial landing, the instructor assessed that the remaining runway distance was insufficient for a safe stop. Consequently, he elected to abort the landing and increased engine power to attempt a takeoff. The aircraft failed to generate sufficient lift and did not become airborne. To prevent a collision with the hangars belonging to Air Touraine, the pilot maneuvered the airplane between two structures. During this pass, both wings struck the hangar buildings, causing the aircraft to come to rest. All five occupants escaped without serious harm, except for the captain who sustained injuries. Additionally, two individuals on the ground were injured in the event. The airframe sustained damage that rendered it beyond repair.
