What happened
Following departure from Ankara-Esenboga Airport, the aircraft type encountered significant issues maintaining necessary altitude. During this climb phase, the plane struck an ILS antenna situated approximately 300 meters beyond the runway threshold.
The flight crew immediately notified Air Traffic Control regarding the emergency situation. Controllers subsequently provided clearance for the aircraft to perform an emergency return to the airport.
Upon landing, all 165 occupants were successfully evacuated from the plane without reported injuries. Following the incident, the aircraft was declared a total loss due to structural damage.
