What happened
A skydiving mission operating out of Rancagua-de la Independencia Airport ended in a fatal accident during the initial stages of flight. As the aircraft was performing its takeoff roll, the captain identified an unidentified technical issue. In response to this malfunction, the pilot initiated an aborted takeoff procedure.
During the attempt to stop the aircraft, the plane became uncontrollable and veered away from the runway centerline. The aircraft eventually came to a stop after exiting the paved surface. The accident resulted in one fatality among the passengers on board.
