What happened
During a routine training mission departing from Kayseri-Erkilet AFB, a twin-engine aircraft experienced a catastrophic loss of control. While operating at a low altitude, the aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent and struck the ground in the vicinity of the Sarimsakli Dam, located approximately 22 km northeast of the Kayseri Airbase.
The impact resulted in the total destruction of the airframe. There were three fatalities recorded, involving the entire onboard crew, which consisted of two pilots and one technician.
Findings
No specific technical cause for the sudden descent has been officially confirmed, though the aircraft's transition into an uncontrolled dive preceded the impact.
