A twin-engine airplane operated on behalf of a German company based in northern Germany crashed while on approach to Nuremberg Airport. The aircraft was completing a flight from Udine, Italy, to Koblenz, Germany, with an intermediate stop in Nuremberg.

The airplane suffered an engine failure during the approach and subsequently crashed in the Langwasser district, approximately 10 kilometers southeast of the airport. All three occupants aboard the aircraft were killed in the accident.
