What happened
Following a departure from Egelsbach Airport, a twin engine aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent while performing its climb. The flight path led the plane toward Gräfenhausen, where it ultimately impacted the ground. The wreckage of the aircraft was discovered situated along a highway in the area.
At the time of the accident, there was only one person on board the aircraft. The pilot was the sole occupant and was killed in the impact. No other injuries were reported at the scene.
Findings
- The aircraft lost control during the climb phase immediately after takeoff.
- The aircraft went out of control during its ascent from the airfield.
