What happened
During an emergency medical transport mission, a twin-engine aircraft crashed into the ocean near Bequia Island. The flight originated from Kingstown-E. T. Joshua Airport and was destined for Canouan. While the aircraft was in the cruise phase of its journey, it experienced an uncontrolled descent into the water.
Following the disappearance, search efforts located various pieces of wreckage in the sea the day after the incident. Despite the recovery of debris, there was no trace of the pilot found at the scene. The incident resulted in one fatality.
