What happened
During a positioning flight destined for Barinas, an aircraft departed from Runway 10 at Charallave-Óscar Machado Zuloaga Airport. While the aircraft was performing its initial climb, it experienced a right-hand bank and a subsequent loss of altitude. The flight ended when the plane struck a heavily forested area situated below the airfield, resulting in a large explosion. The impact caused the aircraft to disintegrate. There were two fatalities among the crew.
Findings
Following the departure from the airfield, the aircraft entered a right-hand bank that led to the loss of altitude and the eventual crash into the dense vegetation.
