What happened
On the evening of the incident, a private aircraft departed from Runway 01 at Veracruz-General Heriberto Jara Corona Airport at 20:47 local time. The flight was scheduled to travel to Toluca, carrying a total of three people: two pilots and one passenger.
Approximately three minutes after departure, the aircraft type (unspecified) was in its initial climb phase under nighttime conditions when it began an uncontrolled descent. The plane struck the surface of the sea near Ciudad de Veracruz. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the airframe.
