What happened
During a routine local training session at Camden Airport, an aircraft experienced a critical loss of airspeed while attempting to recover from an approach. As the crew was performing the final approach phase of the flight, the pilot-in-command decided to execute a go-around procedure.
During this transition, the aircraft entered a stall condition. The subsequent loss of control resulted in a crash at the airfield. While the impact caused significant damage, rendering the aircraft a total loss, there were no fatalities or injuries reported among the crew members on board.
Findings
- The accident occurred during the transition from final approach to a go-around maneuver.
- The primary factor in the crash was an aerodynamic stall occurring during the climb attempt.
