What happened
On March 9, an aircraft departed from Condoto at 14:36 local time, destined for Cali. The flight was scheduled to arrive at approximately 15:35 local time. On board the aircraft were five passengers and a crew of three, alongside a cargo consisting of platinum and gold.
While the flight was cruising at an altitude of 12,500 feet, positioned north of Cali, the flight encountered adverse weather conditions. During this period, the aircraft type impacted a mountainside in the vicinity of Trujillo. Following the failure of the aircraft to reach its destination, search and rescue operations were initiated.
The wreckage was located four days after the disappearance, on March 13. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the airframe. There were eight fatalities among the occupants, with no survivors reported from the crew or the passengers.
