What happened
On the night of the incident, an aircraft was performing an approach toward the runway 06 threshold at São Luis-Tirirical Airport. During this flight phase, the plane made contact with the ground approximately 500 meters before reaching the intended runway threshold.
The impact caused significant damage to the airframe, rendering the aircraft a total loss. While there were no fatalities reported, all three crew members sustained injuries during the accident.
