What happened
During a flight operating between Fortín Campero and Tarija, the aircraft encountered adverse weather conditions. While navigating through these difficult meteorological circumstances, the crew appears to have altered the intended flight path. During this maneuver, the plane impacted a mountain slope situated in the vicinity of Villamontes.
Search teams located the debris field several hours after the impact occurred. The accident resulted in the deaths of all 20 people on board, consisting of 17 passengers and a crew of 3.
