What happened
During a scheduled flight departing from Barranquilla and bound for Gamarra, a four-engine aircraft struck the side of a mountain. The impact occurred in a mountainous region situated between the towns of El Banco and Curumaní. This location is approximately 80 km north of the Gamarra Airport.
The accident resulted in two fatalities, as both the captain and the co-pilot were killed in the crash.
