What happened
During the landing phase of the flight, the aircraft's main landing gear suffered a sudden collapse. This mechanical failure occurred as the plane made contact with the runway surface.
Following the collapse, the aircraft type slid along the runway for several dozen meters before the motion eventually ceased. Despite the intensity of the excursion, all occupants were able to evacuate the aircraft without sustaining any injuries. The final count of zero fatalities and zero injuries was confirmed following the evacuation.
Findings
Post-incident assessments determined that the aircraft sustained damage so extensive that it was considered beyond repair. The investigation into the incident focused on the structural integrity of the landing gear assembly during touchdown.
