What happened
On January 12, 2022, at approximately 22:30 UTC, a Grumman G-164-A aircraft, registered as LV-GXQ, was conducting an agricultural spraying operation near San Salvador, Entre Ríos. The aircraft was engaged in a fertilizer application mission when the pilot experienced a mechanical failure involving the engine's turbocharger.
Following the loss of engine performance, the pilot executed a precautionary landing in a nearby pasture used for grazing. The aircraft landed without sustaining any structural damage. The pilot was able to exit the aircraft safely and did not sustain any injuries.
