What happened
On July 7, 2022, an Airbus A350-941, registered as EC-NJM, was performing a regular commercial flight from Madrid-Barajas (LEMD) to Ministro Pistarini International Airport (SAEZ) in Buenos Aires. While the aircraft was in the approach phase of flight, near the ARSOT position, it encountered a bird strike. The impact occurred on the leading edge of the right wing.
The investigation
