On November 29, 2022, a Beechcraft 95-B55, registration OM-KVV, was operating a flight from Ankara Esenboğa Airport (LTAC) in Turkey to Zvartnots Airport (UDUZ) in the Republic of Armenia. The aircraft was being ferried as part of a sale between two private individuals.
During the flight, the aircraft encountered instrument meteorological conditions. The crew attempted to perform a climbing spiral, which led to a loss of spatial orientation. This maneuver caused the aircraft to enter critical angles of attack and subsequently stall, resulting in a collision with the ground in the Kotaylag region.
The flight crew, consisting of two pilots who were citizens of the Czech Republic, was not prepared or authorized for flight in these specific meteorological conditions. There were two fatalities resulting from the impact.
Prior to the accident, the aircraft had completed several legs of a ferry route, including stops at Prachovice Airport (LKPM), Bratislava Ivanka Airport (LZIB), and Burgas Saravo Airport (LBBG).
