On June 20, 2024, a Robinson R66 operated by OOO 'Sibir' was scheduled to transport three passengers from the Zaysky LPK settlement to the Dzhertula production site. The flight plan had been approved by the Regional Center of Air Traffic Management in Khabarovsk the previous day. The pilot arrived at the Zaysky LPK settlement at 07:53 and performed pre-flight inspections and weather monitoring via a mobile application.
Following the inspection, three passengers and 50 kg of baggage were loaded onto the aircraft. The pilot took off at 09:04. At 09:16:53, while passing the mandatory reporting point (ГОГНИ), the pilot contacted the air traffic controller of MDП-1 'Khabarovsk-Region' to report an altitude of 1200 m and an estimated landing time of 01:00 UTC. At 09:18:37, the pilot reported progress without establishing communication with MDП 'Zeya'.
The aircraft, registration RA-07430, was operating in a mountainous area when the accident occurred. The incident resulted in four fatalities and no survivors.
