What happened
On October 22, 2016, an Robinson R44, registration RA-04347, operated by Uryumkan LLC, was involved in an aviation accident. The aircraft had previously completed a scheduled flight from Svetly to Zolotorechinsk earlier that night without incident. At approximately 10:40 PM, the pilot initiated a second flight from Zolotorechinsk toward the Dzalaikadai area, located roughly 30 km to the east. This second departure was conducted at night and was performed without notifying Air Traffic Control services.
The crew consisted of two members, and there was one passenger on board. The aircraft's takeoff weight was recorded at 1133 kg, which was within the maximum takeoff weight limit of 1143 kg specified in the R44 flight manual. Additionally, the center of gravity was measured at 2380 mm, falling within the permitted range of 2370–2490 mm. The flight was intended to be carried out for operational necessity within Class G airspace.
