What happened

A flight traveling from San Luis Potosí to Torreón, which included a scheduled stop in Ciudad Victoria, ended in a fatal accident during the late afternoon. The twin engine aircraft was performing a descent toward Ciudad Victoria Airport when the crew encountered adverse weather conditions. During this phase of flight, the aircraft struck trees and crashed into hilly terrain in the vicinity of Conrado Castillo.

Search efforts located the wreckage the following morning, approximately 60 km northwest of the Ciudad Victoria Airport. The force of the impact caused the aircraft to disintegrate. There were six fatalities recorded, as all six occupants, including the pilot and five passengers, perished in the accident.
