What happened

A private flight departed from Wangerooge Island Airport, bound for Bremen, with one pilot and four passengers on board. During the departure from runway 28, the single-engine aircraft completed a takeoff roll of approximately 300 metres before lifting off the ground. Immediately after rotation, the aircraft entered a high angle of attack and experienced a left-side roll. The aircraft subsequently impacted a drainage ditch situated roughly 340 metres from the start of the departure. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft and caused five injuries among the occupants. The two individuals located in the cockpit sustained serious injuries due to the intense forces of the crash.
