What happened
A flight departing from Campinas-Campo de Amarais-Prefeito Francisco Amaral Airport, destined for Belo Horizonte-Pampulha-Carlos Drummond de Andrade Airport, ended in a fatal accident. Shortly after takeoff, the pilot steered the aircraft toward the east, where the plane encountered adverse weather conditions. During this period, the aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent and experienced an in-flight breakup that resulted in the loss of a wing.
The wreckage was located in a prairie area situated less than 3 km south of Itapeva. The impact caused the total destruction of the single-engine airplane. There were seven fatalities among the occupants of the aircraft.
