Introduction
A crop-spraying aircraft operated by the sovkhoz of Gazimuro-Zavodski was conducting an agricultural spraying flight. The flight was part of routine operations in the region.
Accident Sequence
While performing a left turn at a low altitude, the aircraft lost height. It then stalled and crashed in flames into an open field. The field was located approximately six kilometers west of the airport of Gazimurski Zavod. The impact and ensuing fire completely destroyed the aircraft.
Casualties and Damage
The aircraft burned out. One of the two pilots on board was killed, and the second pilot sustained serious injuries.
