Incident
A crop-spraying flight was underway when the crew encountered an unexpected situation. The pilot-in-command decided to attempt an emergency landing on a dirt track located between Kumushkino and Botanichnoye. During this maneuver, the aircraft crash landed.
Occupants and Aircraft Damage
Both individuals on board managed to escape the accident without any injuries. The aircraft, however, was damaged beyond repair, meaning it was completely destroyed as a result of the crash.
Regulatory Findings
Ukrainian authorities, in their investigation, determined that the aircraft was being operated without a valid Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) and without a Certificate of Registration (CofR). These certificates are typically required for legal operation.
