Incident Overview
On an unspecified date, a Rockwell Sabreliner 75A (NA-265-80 version) departed from Celaya-Capitán Rogelio Castillo Airport shortly before 0700LT. The flight to Santiago de Querétaro was conducted without a flight plan and carried an unknown number of people on board.
Sequence of Events
At 0731LT, the crew contacted the destination airport and elected to land approximately seven minutes later. After landing on runway 27, the crew was instructed to vacate via a taxiway for the apron, but the aircraft continued straight, veered off the runway after traveling about 800 meters, impacted a rocky wall, lost its nose gear, and came to rest.
Aftermath
When rescuers arrived on the scene, they found no occupants; the individuals had left the aircraft and disappeared. It appears the flight was illegal, and it is believed that the aircraft was stolen at Celaya Airport.
