What happened
The incident involved a twin-engine aircraft conducting a test flight that originated in Mendoza and was destined for Buenos Aires-Aeroparque-Jorge Newbury Airport. While en route, the pilot reported encountering mechanical difficulties with the engines. In response to these issues, the crew decided to divert to Junín Airport.
During the approach phase at the diversion airfield, the aircraft crashed into a field. Upon impact, the undercarriage was lost, and the airframe came to rest in flames. Despite the severity of the crash and the subsequent fire, all five members of the crew emerged from the wreckage unhurt. The aircraft was destroyed in the accident.
