Aegean Airlines livery rebrand traced back to 2020 reveal

Aegean Airlines' current look pairs two blues with a mostly white fuselage, a design introduced in 2020 alongside its first Airbus A320neo. The scheme was the carrier's first major rebranding in about twenty years.

Aegean Airlines' standard livery uses two shades of blue over a mainly white fuselage, a combination tied to colours commonly associated with Greece. The design was introduced in 2020 and represented the airline's first significant rebranding in roughly two decades.

It arrived at the same time as the carrier's first Airbus A320neo. Three newly delivered A320neos were shown in the updated colours at an unveiling in Athens in February 2020, an event attended by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Those aircraft marked the start of a wider fleet modernisation effort.

London-based design firm PriestmanGoode developed the redesign. It replaced Aegean's earlier white, blue and red scheme with a cleaner look built on Aegean Blue, Silver Blue and white, colours the airline drew from the Aegean Sea and the Greek sky.
