Aero Norway wins first Leap engine maintenance contract with GE Aerospace
Aero Norway, part of ITP Aero, has signed a multi-year agreement with GE Aerospace to service high-pressure turbine components on CFM International's Leap-1A and Leap-1B engines, marking its entry into Leap maintenance.

Aero Norway is moving beyond the CFM56 family and into Leap engine maintenance. The company, part of ITP Aero, signed a multi-year contract with GE Aerospace for high-pressure turbine components on the Leap-1A and Leap-1B, built by CFM International. It is Aero Norway's first such agreement and its first work on the Leap.
GE Aerospace sends some of this work to outside maintenance providers to add capacity, according to the company. More than 8,000 Leap engines are in service worldwide, it said, and more than 10,000 more are on order.
