Air Canada adds Montréal–Seville with A321XLR from 2027
Air Canada will launch a seasonal nonstop route between Montréal and Seville using an Airbus A321XLR, starting September 2027.

Air Canada will add a nonstop seasonal service between Montréal and Seville, the carrier's fifth destination in Spain. The route begins on 8 September 2027 with three weekly flights, rising to four a week from 1 October.
An Airbus A321XLR will operate the service, configured with 182 seats. Fourteen of those are business class seats that recline fully flat, with the remaining 168 in economy. According to the airline, it will be the only carrier offering a nonstop link between North America and Seville.
The season is scheduled to run from 8 September 2027 to 8 January 2028, then resume after a winter break from 18 February to 3 June 2028.
The Seville route joins previously announced European services from Montréal to Basel-Mulhouse and Dubrovnik for summer 2027.
