Air Canada will launch nonstop seasonal flights between Montreal and Seville on September 8, 2027, making the southern Spanish city its newest European destination. The service will run from the airline's hub at Montreal's Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport.

Flights begin at three weekly frequencies, rising to four per week from October 1, 2027. The schedule is split into two seasonal blocks. Northbound flight AC958 departs Montreal at 20:30 and arrives in Seville at 09:30 the next day, operating from September 8, 2027 to January 8, 2028, and again from February 18 to June 3, 2028. Southbound flight AC959 leaves Seville at 12:45 and reaches Montreal at 14:40, running from September 9, 2027 to January 9, 2028, and from February 19 to June 4, 2028.

Mark Galardo, Air Canada's Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer and President of Cargo, said Seville strengthens the carrier's global network and positions it as the largest airline by seats between Canada and Spain. It will be the only nonstop link between the city and North America, he said, giving customers and Aeroplan members direct access to Andalusia.

Air Canada said the range and performance of its new Airbus A321XLR fleet makes the route possible. The aircraft will have the Glowing Hearted interior concept in a two-class layout with 182 seats, 14 of them in the premium cabin.

The seasonal schedule covers autumn and spring travel periods. The airline plans to publish further details of its summer 2027 international network.
