Air Corsica pilots call first strike in carrier's history
Unions representing Air Corsica's pilots have filed strike notice for 9 to 16 October amid talks over company agreements. The airline has not said how operations might be affected.

The SNPL and Spac unions have filed a strike notice at Air Corsica covering 9 to 16 October, according to Corsenet Infos. If it goes ahead, it would be the first walkout since the airline was founded.
Talks over company agreements are at the centre of the dispute. The two unions represent the carrier's 140 pilots. Union representatives called management's proposals so far unacceptable and want clear, long-term commitments for staff. Whether a strike would affect flights is not yet known.
