United offers status match to Delta and American frequent flyers
United Airlines is offering frequent flyers from Delta Air Lines and American Airlines a status match, giving them 90 days of comparable status while they work toward revenue thresholds to keep it.

United Airlines has opened a status match for elite frequent flyers at Delta Air Lines and American Airlines. Members with status at either competitor get a comparable United tier for 90 days, the airline said. Keeping it through 31 January 2028 requires hitting revenue thresholds in that window on flights operated by United or its regional partners.
Those thresholds depend on the tier, running from 1,500 US dollars, about 1,280 euros, up to 7,000 US dollars, about 5,960 euros. The top regular United status, 1K, calls for the full 7,000 dollars. United is pitching the offer directly as a switch programme for Delta and American customers.
