Air France brings La Première first class to San Francisco route

Air France began offering its La Première first-class cabin on flights between San Francisco and Paris starting August 14, according to the airline. The service is available on one of the carrier's two daily departures connecting San Francisco International Airport (SFO) with Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).

The addition extends the reach of Air France's redesigned first-class product. The airline has been rolling it out gradually across select long-haul routes in the United States. La Première sits above business class and is billed as the airline's most exclusive cabin, with seating, service, and amenities beyond what's offered in the rest of the aircraft.

Air France is targeting travelers in the Bay Area with the move, an area with a significant concentration of high-value corporate and leisure travel to Europe. The airline did not specify additional routes planned for the rollout beyond confirming the San Francisco addition.
