Airspace World 2027 to be held in Lisbon in May

The Airspace World conference and exhibition will be held in Lisbon from 25 to 27 May 2027, according to the organisers. The event is organised by the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation, known as CANSO, and brings together air navigation service providers, airlines, airports, authorities, technology suppliers and other parts of the aviation industry.

The programme centres on the current and future challenges of organising and monitoring airspace worldwide. Topics listed include the digitalisation and automation of air traffic management, artificial intelligence, sustainability, safety and resilience, drones and UTM, and the integration of new forms of mobility into existing airspace.

Airspace World combines a large trade exhibition with a three-day conference programme. Organisers say executives, specialists, regulators and technology providers will discuss new concepts and technologies and how air traffic can be organised more safely, efficiently and sustainably.

The venue is again the Feira Internacional de Lisboa, in the Parque das Nações district of the Portuguese capital.
