Alaska Airlines to add lie-flat suites on 787s and 737 MAX 10s
Alaska Airlines announced a new premium product, Aurora, bringing lie-flat suites to its Boeing 787 Dreamliners and selected Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft, alongside a new Premium Reserve cabin that lifts premium seating on its 787-9s to about 46%.
Alaska Airlines will add lie-flat suites to its widebody fleet, and for the first time on selected transcontinental flights, on new Boeing 737s, according to details of a product announcement dated September 29, 2026.
The product is called Aurora. It covers Boeing 787 Dreamliners and selected Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft, with the lie-flat suites reaching the narrowbody fleet from 2028.
Alaska is also introducing a cabin it calls Premium Reserve, raising the share of premium seating aboard its 787-9s to roughly 46%.
