Alaska and Hawaiian unveil new business class suites and premium economy cabin
Alaska Air Group is adding new business class suites and a premium economy product as part of the next phase of its Alaska Accelerate strategy, following its acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines.

Alaska Air Group has unveiled new business class suites for Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines, the next stage of its Alaska Accelerate strategy. The two carriers are being integrated, and the group is expanding its international and premium offerings.
Alaska's product is the Aurora Suites, Hawaiian's the Leihōkū Suites. Both have seats with aisle access, a fully flat sleeping surface and more privacy.
Aurora Suites will be installed from 2028 on at least 25 Boeing 737 Max 10 aircraft, with twelve seats per plane. Hawaiian will use its new suites on its Boeing 787s. A new premium economy class, Premium Reserve, is planned for the Boeing 787, the Airbus A330 and selected Max 10s.
According to the source, the group plans to offer 15 international long-haul destinations from Seattle by 2030. New lounges are planned in Seattle, Honolulu and San Diego.
Alaska introduced Alaska Accelerate in 2024 as a three-year plan that includes additional international connections and synergies from the combination with Hawaiian.
