Alaska Airlines to fit lie-flat suites on Boeing 737 MAX 10
Alaska Airlines plans to become the first carrier to offer a true lie-flat business-class seat on the Boeing 737 MAX 10, with 12 Aurora Suites on at least 25 aircraft from 2028.

Alaska Airlines is preparing to become the first carrier to install a true lie-flat business-class product on the Boeing 737 MAX 10. The plan places 12 Aurora Suites on at least 25 aircraft, with the first deliveries of the fitted jets expected in 2028.
The work sits inside a wider cabin overhaul by Alaska Air Group. That programme also brings a new Premium Reserve cabin to aircraft at Alaska and Hawaiian.
Rather than a single upgraded premium product, the group is building a four-cabin layout. It spans the lie-flat suites, a premium economy offering, Premium Class, and Main Cabin.
